microSD corruption issue
I have recently brought a Sandisk 2GB microsd card, and it is now not working. It started playing up, so i run chkdsk, apparently all fixed.
Next time i go to use it, Windows says nothing in the card reader. After a lot of utilities later, Windows says it needs formatting. Do that, but fails at the end. Several of the programs i used just said every sector was unreadable, untrue, because at one stage I got testdisk to retrieve files and folders. But the entires were corrupt. I even tried a low level format, to the same result. Do I have to buy a new card? Or is there some way i can fix this? And i still have the receipt, so would this be covered? Its fairly new Please help, i have spent the last two days trying to fix this |
