SONY CRX320E CD/RW DVD Rom fraud.

sys stats:

384 PC2700 RAM
2200+ Sempron
741GX-M Mobo
550 Watt X Tech PSU
40 Gig Maxtor
SONY CRX320E CD/RW DVD Rom


i use nero and basically nero says the cd is finished burning but when i take the cd out and out it to play or whatever. nothing happens. i have the latest version firmware for my drive. help me please.

check the eror logs in nero the laser may not be burning at full power
try burning with deepburner

even after its "burnt" there is nothing on the cd.

i downloaded deep burn and it still happens. ive tried everything from roxio to nero to deep burn to the windows default thing.

the problem basically began since i burnt this cd rw like couple days ago. then when i erased it and tried burning it back again, it just ownt burn, the program proclaims it as being burned. but its not.

try removing the upper and lower filters
scroll down to how here

try cleaning the laser
try the drive in another computer
