E :/ is not accesible

hey guys so i just purchased the external pioneer dvd-rw dvr-122 for my toshiba l25 s1194 laptop. and my problem is when ever i put a DVD+R in the drive it goes from a DVD-RAM drive to a CD drive. if anyone can help itd be appreciated. and ive seen the the right click properties then recording and click enable CD recording on this drive but it seems to not work for dvd drives only cd drives.

What firewall do you have? Also, if you're a gamer, check to see if you have Starforce Drivers installed on your computer- those can kill a DVD drive.

What burning software is installed on your computer? What kind of computer do you have? A Dell, HP, Voodoo...

when i try to install WoW,BC, and WC3 it says E:\ is not accessible access denied

It is recommended not to hijack others thread, I will advise you to open up a new thread. It is really hard to guide several person in one thread alone. Meanwhile, have you try install the games inside any subfolders rather than install it on root E?

Do you still have the same problem now? Do you have a iTuned installed on the computer, or any other burning programs like Roxio?
