Help guys. I friggin hate Iomega now. I have exhausted their site and I am not paying money to make an item I already paid for work properly. Besides - its my company's property and I know they will not pony up.
OK. I have an Iomega Super DVD/CD-R/CD-RW burner and it came with the Hotburn Pro CD, etc. I installed the CD and it used to work great. We then upgraded to XP Pro (finally) and I reinstalled and I have added the downloads from the Iomega site and reinstalled and reconnected about a million times and triple-checked that the stupid burner and the software are XP Pro compatible. When in Win explorer, I can see F: as the burner and it will read previously burned CDs, etc. however, I cannot put in a blank CD and drag and drop, nor can I use the HotBurn Pro software. It refuses to recognize the damn burner as connected. As with other threads I perused, the Hardware Wizard states the device is working properly. I just want to be able to continue back-up data files from here at work as we have limited drive space...
