[SOLVED] Burning dvd problems

i have a dvd burner that uses dvd+R disks. I want to burn a avi video file onto a disk. I have tried nero, and another program but each time i try it results in an error and the disk doesn't work. Is there a better dvd burner software that I could use or what can I do?

Nero is as good as it gets . . Have you checked for a Firmware update for the burner? . . have you tried a different brand of DVD disc?

would it make a difference that it is a demo

Firmware is the coding that tells the burner how to behave . . you can check the manufacturers website to see if they have an update

Nero is a demo? . . it should not make a difference, but who knows??

ok i got it working I used dvd shrink. I also converted the avi to dvd files using cucusoft converter and now everything is working fine
