DvD driver And Norton Ghost

Hi every one i am new to the computer world and new to this Forum and I came on this for a first probleme. Here we go,so i bourt my Pc a few years back and had a few probablems about 6months ago my graphic card broke and because my computer was too old they had to put a brand new motherboard and graphique card.I don't know about the rest but anyway att that point they uninstalled all the Northon Programmes and installed AVG free version and adaware so far everything was going find until i relised that my DVD-RW drive dosn't want to read anything anymore and each time i try right clicking on it a northon ghost installation comes up wich i have canceled every time so far.
If you can tell me what to do please i realy need it for my studies right now
