Roll Eyes Cd drive problem

I have done a few mods to my acer aspire t180-ua350b such as a new video cardcase fan new processor and some ram, but my disk drives arent working.It worked with the ram and the video card but hasnt worked since i switched the processor.It is very frusterating because i cant play my games. i tried a new IDE ribbon and that didnt work and i have also tried unplugging and replugging it a lot. please help THANKS.

Did you change out your power supply? I am assuming the cd drive is set to slave, correct?

if you can see them listed in the bios correctly
remove the upper and lower filters
