Won't read data
I just got my motherboard replaced (other one was fried,) but anyways... I noticed it first with my floppy drive. Floppy drive for one, doesn't read data, and now when I was trying to burn a CD, both of my drives will detect a disc (as in, on My Computer the name of the drive will change,) but neither will read any data. Also, the drive name just changes to CD Drive instead of the CD label. I don't know if it's the motherboard, or if I just connected something wrong. I'll take a look inside later, but I just wanted some second opinions.
Edit: How odd... I just attempted again after looking at another thread which pointed to http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;314060, but one drive seems to work perfectly now and the other still doesn't work... Any ideas? Last edited by XTTX; 09-30-2007 at 01:11 PM. |
