My old DVDRW reccently died on me and snapped 1 of my disks so I went and bought a new top of the range DVDRW and it still dosent work. I bought a LITEON DVDRW LH-20A1P Lightscribe and I installed it. I only run 1 drive off my computer and I set it to master it installed the drivers but when I insert a disk or a game or a music cd or dvd it reads it but wont play or when I double click the drive it freezes my machine I went into the boot up nd changed it to boot from disk chucked my XP cd in nd it reads every file perfectly is it something to do with windows ? I took it back and the tech guy tested it and it worked fine ! he said it must be something with my computer he said to reformat and my dad says the same thing. I am unsure and I really dont want to reformat my computer its a last resort can somebody please help me ?
