DVD drive longevity
ok, so i'm making DVD's for my church. I'm having to make 35 DVD's, and would like to just burn one and use a duplicator from there, but chances of having access to a duplicator are next to nill. So how much would it kill my DVD burner to burn 35 copies of the same file, which looks like it will come out to 750-800 MB/10-12 minutes according to studio? It is a lightscribe drive but I have no intention of using the lightscribe function.

Re: DVD drive longevity
how long is a long time? The movie is right now 1.30 GB and 20 minutes according to studio and i'm still adding stuff. Drive is a Samsung/TSSTcorp SH-S182M.
I've got a lead on somebody that might have a duplicator but haven't made any contact yet since im still working on the movie. I'll be using single layer DVD+R's so looks like 18x speed. DVD+R DL Speed: 8 X (DVD, DVD-R) DVD-R DL Speed: 8 X (DVD, DVD-R) DVD-RAM Speed: 12 X (DVD, DVD-R) DVD-RW Speed: 6 X (DVD, DVD-R) DVD+RW Speed: 8 X (DVD, DVD-R) DVD+R Speed: 18 X (DVD, DVD-R) DVD-R Speed: 18 X (DVD, DVD-R) DVD-ROM Read Speed: 16 X (DVD, DVD-R)
