computer help

Hi, I just installed a cd burner into my computer, after that i turned on my computer and the harddrive is not seen. Also i had a cd drive that worked before and now neither my new or old cd drives will open. I know it is not the power supply because i tired a new one. Do you think my motherboard got fried?

Re: computer help

you have to set the jumpers
end plug is master
middle plug is slave
if your h/drive is a western digital and you have installed on the same cable then you have to also set the jumper on it to master with slave
check you did not dislodge one of the plug on the h/drive cable when fitting the new drive
