Lexar Jumpshot

I bought a Lexar Jumpshot Microdrive reader with a camera second hand recently. XP does not recognise when USB connected. I downloaded a system file lexar 2k but how do i install it?

The software you have is for Windows 2000. The drivers are built into XP.
When you plug it in, does XP see new hardware and try to load drivers?

No sign of drive whatsoever in my computer or in Device Manager. Nothing happens when plugged in to USB either.

Also no error reports and nothing in device manager it is as if its not connected to my machine at all.

The USB cable or the device itself could be malfunctioning. Try using a different USB cable(if you can).
