[resolved]DVD RW cant read DVDs???

Hi there I have just installed a DVDrw my uncle gave to me

Pioneer dvd rw dvr 106D

I loaded it up put a dvd in sat back to watch a movie! Waiting... waiting ....

Nothing happened, it doesnt registor that there is a dvd in there. It works for copying cds and playing cds no probs. I have copied loads with this drive but when it comes to DVDs it just doesnt want to know.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Do you have a program for specifically viewing DVD movies?
