cd burner and dvd drive not detected
hi there, my computer suffered a hard disk crash recently, and now it doesnt detect my burner, nor my dvd drive. the drives can still open and close, but nothign runs when i insert a disc.
how can i fix this? thanks |

Are the drives detected by the BIOS? You might need to reset the CMOS, you can find out how to do this in your motherboard manual.
