RESOLVED I cant access the flashdrive

Hello everyone, I have an issue. I am using this laptop, its an Acer Travelmate 2480. NEways when I plug in mylittle flash drive to copy some things, the computer thinks for a sec, the light on the drive comes on and then the remove safely icon is in my status bar. So far so good. The only problem is that the actual drive is no where to be found in the computer. I tried looking thru "My Computer" nothing there besides the regulars (C, CD-Rom, Etc.) I tried doing a search for a text file that is on the actual dirve and It couldn't findthe file either. I'm scratching my head here and getting nothing but annoyed by the whole thing.

PLZ Help Me.

Hi,

If you go into device manager, do you see the flash drive listed as an unknown device?

Is there a yellow ! next to it? Does it say the device is functioning properly in properties?
