Question about dvd burners

I'm needing a new dvd burner. I'm leaning towards a Liteon, but I keep seeing the I/O Magic and Memorex burners in a lot of stores. Who makes these burners, and are they worthwhile?

i've always heard that (and use) LG optical drives are a quality make. although i do have 1 NEC.

Hi,

I have a Liteon and it is a good burner. I have also used the Samsung model and find it is fine also. The only one I have ever had difficulty with is the Memorex burners. I will not buy one of those at any price.
