Computer stopped recognising CD's/Dvd's[resolved]

Hi there

My computer has recently stopped recognising any dvd's and cd's. I have no idea why, but I open up My Computer and it just shows the last dvd that I played that actually worked as still being inserted, but if I try and play it in Media Player etc it says there is nothing in the D drive! I don't know what has happened. The only thing I can possibly think of is that using some peer-to-peer software I may have accidently done something?

I've got help from people on here before and its always proved very helpful, so I was hoping you might be able to clear this up.

Look forward to any replies!
