OS: win XP media center


help with dvd drive needed

My dvd drive is no longer detected in my computer, however when i poked around in the device manager i found it with this note "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)" can anyone help with this?

btw-the drive is a sony dvd rw dw-q120a and i'm running windows xp

i tried that aswell as looking for driver updates but no luck.

In device manager, Right click the bad drive that isn't working and select Uninstall then reboot Windows and let it automatically detect the new drive.

Check to see if this works.
