buying OEM drives

OEM drives are about $15 cheaper than the retail version, so I really want to get one of those, since the other parts for my comp are gonna be real expensive. The thing is, though, is that in the reviews for all of the OEM ones people are saying that you get no software or cables.

SO does that mean I have to somehow find the cable that connect the drive into the computer, and also the installation CD for the hardware as well?

I was looking at this one:

But if I have to go retail I guess I will get this one:

My System

The ide cable that connects the drive to the motherboard most times comes with the motherboard if it does not and you get a oem drive you would have to purchase that seperatly.

You won't need a install cd but you will need burn software of some sort

well I have Nero 6 that came with a drive I bought off ebay a few months ago, just hit me that that drive was also OEM, but I realized a few weeks ago that it does not burn DVD's, so that is why I am getting a new one
