New Lite-on DVD RW Drive
I read the instructions installed the drivers etc and now I get the following message on boot up can anyone help and tell me what is the problem/solution. Secondary IDE no 80 conductor cable installed.

modern dvd drives require a 80 wire ide cable,unlike the older ones that used the 40 wire
on an 80 wire the plugs are different colours and the ribbing is almost flat
