OS: Xp Sp3 with all updates + Vista™ Ultimate SP1.

My System

Greetings HarrisonT,

Hopefully you have Sp2 installed, and if not, I recommend that you install it, as Sp2 will elevate many issues such as ones like yours.

However, if you do have Sp2 installed, have a look at this.....

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/285910/en-us

....and see if this resolves the issue.

Have you tried using a different brand of CD media? Sometimes the 'cheaper' brands are not recognised by the CD Recording Wizard.

Also most new CD Recorder Drives today come 'bundled' with an OEM version of a CD Burning program like Nero™. Installing a program such as Nero™ will eliminate using the Windows® 'Easy CD Creator Program', and generally third party CD Burning Programs are very easy to use too.

Report back with the results.
