data disks
I have burned several data disks but everytime I go to copy and paste the files back onto my hard drive it says the parameter is incorrect then when i try to open them it says windows media player encountered an unknown error please tell me what i can do to prevent this

you can try this program to see if the discs are corrupt. it sounds like they are.
you could slow down the burn speed and then try a different media type. it depends on what burning software you are using, but close all programs in the background. i'm assuming it's nothing more than a straight data disc.
