Looking to add more RAM

So, my virtual and physical memory is pretty high, so I want to add more RAM.

Now, I'm not a particularly tech savvy person.
So I have 3 1GB sticks in 3/6 slots on my P6T motherboard. I'd like to upgrade to 5GB or maybe 6GB RAM. My RAM is allegedly 1600Mhz. I have no idea what the brand is because I bought from iBuyPower and they don't tell you, so..

Could you help me out?

System specs

Download and install CPU-Z here: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
It should identify make and model plus the timings.

This is the QVL memory list for your board. If you plan on keeping to tri-channel memory, then look for 6GB (6144MB) packs

Re: Looking to add more RAM

You mean I can't just get 3GB, I have to replace all my RAM?

Re: Looking to add more RAM

It's usually best to have all the ram matched, different specs of the ram modules can cause incompatibility issues.

Re: Looking to add more RAM

Alright. Is this fine for P6T?

Also, if I wanted to add even more RAM later on, could I just get another stick of this?

Re: Looking to add more RAM

I've never used Adata, but any triple sets are going to be for the x58 platform as it's the only chipset using it.

Re: Looking to add more RAM

The Hyperx model from Kingston is decent same chips as the Corsair usually.
