Power Supply Not Powering PC
I have recently purchased some parts to build my own pc but am having an issue in regards to the system being powered.
I have (according to being tested as well as wattage calculators) the correct power supply for my motherboard (also brand new) but for some reason, when all appears to be plugged in correctly, the pc is not being powered. I hit the button, the CPU fan spins for a second and then it stops again and nothing happens. According to extensive calculations of wattage requirements and testing, the power supply's fine. There are a few cords coming from the power supply that do not plug into anything on the motherboard or other hardware. Motherboard: Gigabyte M61MPE Power Supply: 320w Aywun A1 2100 Can anyone shed some light on this for me? |

Re: Power Supply Not Powering PC
You should do this. How to Bench Test Your System
I dont have alot of faith in that power supply. 320 watts for systems nowadays are a losing proposition. Post all hardware specs.

Re: Power Supply Not Powering PC
this issue is either ram or power supply related. If you have some other good know ram that is compatible in your motherboard or a nother psu to try then do that.
