What are you thoughts on this PS
Its from staples( not sure if there a USA store) in canada.
Retail Plus 700W Power Supply . Can't seem to find specs online... But I got guy to open box and it has 3 rails 16a 16a and 17a 99$ and if I wanted to return it there's no shipping :) A person would have to take it apart to see which wires go on which rail so you evenly divide power? http://yahoo.shoptoit.ca/shop/produc...d_8147002.html Could it easily power a hd 4870? or maybe a 4890 One hardrive on a intel duo 2.8 one dvd player. Re: What are you thoughts on this PS
I can find no details on this unit at all. Frankly, I wouldn't trust it. Return it and buy a quality 650-750W unit from a quality brand:
Corsair SeaSonic CWT PC Power and Cooling Thermaltake Toughpower (NOT Pure Power) CoolerMaster Real Power Pro (NOT eXtreme Power) A 650W+ unit from one of those companies should easily power a 4870 or 4890.

Re: What are you thoughts on this PS
Retail Plus isn't much of a brand. Saw some comments on the Source's site once, 2 out of three blew up. Not a good sign eh.
