Hey all.
I want a new power supply for my machine. I dont have alot of cash to spend so i thought i must ask you guys about a good budget PSU. So far i have my eyes on the GIGABYTE ODIN 720W 24-Pin Power Supply. My specs are as follows. Gigabyte motherboard, S-Series 2 hard drives ATI HD4870 Intel duo core +4400 2 Gig ram - (2x 1gig) Dvd-RW I had a look at a website from asus where it calculates the power your system needs and i was told it must be above 600W. So will this gigabyte PSU work for my system? Thanks alot for the help in advance! |

Re: New power supply? =?
I would not purchase either of the mentioned supplies. Here is what you need for that video card:

Re: New power supply? =?
That 750 is actually a much better buy at that price and that way you will have a bigger supply for future upgrades.
