i have the same problem also! on a A1700n , Loud Fans no bios menu just blank screen

Anthlon 64x 2 (w) 3800+ 2.0GHz
A8m2n-LA MoBo

I tried that still nothing. Loud fans no Bios menu, blank screen still, but i hear my hard drive running. hope it aint the motherboard or CPU

512mb x2 1024mb =1g Ram
MSI 9400GT VGA PCI-Express x16 , 1GRam on card.

Pull one stick of ram leaving the stick closest to the CPU in, try to boot if it still does not post swap the sticks and try again.

Pull all the ram and see if it beeps continuously when you try to boot.

I would test the power supply with a volt meter or by swapping in a known good one but it's looking like a motherboard gone bad.
Test your power supply with a multi meter

and could i swap Mobo for an upgrade for gaming in a midtower?
