power supply fan inside case

Im a little confused, i thought fans where supposed to blow the air out of the case not inside of it. Many of the power supplies i am looking at have the fan mounted on the side of the power supply inside the case, http://cgi.ebay.com/Broadway-OKIA-65...d=p4999.c0.m14

Is this normal, will this heat up the inside of my case dramatically, it is a sealed case. how does this effectively cool itself without burning up my bits and peices?

It's quite normal. That's an intake fan, it sucks warm air from the computer into the power supply, over the PSU's heatsinks, and out the back of the case. Your components stay cool, and the PSU takes a small hit to its efficiency.
