pls help! black screen
hello i needd help pls,,my pc after start up while you are browsing or whatever you do it hangs up then turns the screen black then a single long beep from a speaker(not the motherboard speaker) sounds..i have newly bought a video card 9400gt ang installed a new 2 gig memory, i already runned the memtest with 8 passes no error..my OS is windows xp. tnx

amd socket am2 dual core 2100mhz proc core voltage 1.184V geforce 9400gt 1gig (newly bought) ram kingston 2 gig (newly bought) 1.8 volts(cpuz) power supply is 500w just a generi power supply |

You have a problem with your Video card. Re-seat the video card into the motherboard and see if you can boot into the Bios, disable the on-board video.

look at the label on the side of the psu for
