memory problems
i had to restore my computer and before i did i had tons of games and programs on it. i restored it and now i can only download a certain amount...nowhere near the amount i was able to download before i restored it. can anyone help me get back my memory? (i have a windows xp home edition emachine t3522)

I am not sure I understand your problem
You did a windows restore and anything you downloaded before the restore is gone, this is the idea of a restore. or are you saying you had to reinstall the operating system and now can't download any updates for your games

I'm alsonot totally clear on your problem or what you are asking.
If you used Windows System Restore, everything that was on the C: partition at the time the Restore Point was made is still there and anything that was added after that Restore Point is gone. If you did a restore from a Restore Disc, the PC is restored to it's original configuration.

so you said to me by PM that you wiped the hard drive completly.
Did you accidently create another partition? Have you reinstalled the motherboard drivers disk?

What software was used to wipe the Hdd?
If the Primary partition was wiped, I'd guess Windows got installed on the restore partition.
