Re: p5q pro and ati radion and power supply
The rated voltage +/- 5% so for the 12v the "Spec" is 11.4v to 12.6v however with a quality supply you should be seeing a stable 11.9v-12.10v as we start to see video issues around 11.7v.
If your seeing that low of a number without the drives using current and without windows loading the drivers which cause the video card to fully function and draw more the number will drop even farther. 2 supplies is not a good idea the voltage control circuits will be fighting each other. |

Re: p5q pro and ati radion and power supply
Make sure you have the 24 pin main and 4 pin cpu power plugs fully seated, disconnect all the drives(hard and DVD), unplug all usb devices except the keyboard/mouse, clear the CMOS and try to boot to the Bios setup screen.

Re: p5q pro and ati radion and power supply
theres a 24 pin connection which goes into your motherboard to make it work you cant miss it and there's a 4 pin one which will be next to the cpu
to clear cmos you witch the computer off, take out the battery, short the jumpers next to the battery or move the jumper pin to 2 & 3 after 20 minutes put the battery back then put the jumpers back

Re: p5q pro and ati radion and power supply
With the old power supply you were getting into the Bios set up screens correct?
If so try reinstalling the old and see if you can get into them. |
