psu or another problem?

my hdd makes diffrent noises and that stops when i touch the psu cable of hdd and actually yellow one is the one that makes the sound stop. And i get freezes frequently. Can it be because of a bad cable and is it posibble to change cable?

Is there another cable to use to test with on your Power Supply? Possibly from the CD drive?

Is the Hdd securely mounted?

cable directly comes from psu so i dont know how can i change that cable and also the windows is on that hard disk and sometimes it opens without problem for some time than start to make that sound and freeze.

The cable just plugs into the hard drive. You unplug it and plug in another.
