Does the power supply need replaced?
I originally posted in the video card thread but I think my issue might be my psu. I got a computer from a friend who told me the computer just stopped working, it wouldn't turn on. She let it sit for quite a while before I got my hands on it. I plugged it in just to see and low and behold it powered on. Now when I plugged the monitor in it gave me the self check, check connections, monitor is working screen. I did all the basic troubleshooting and tried resetting the BIOS and nothing is helping. The video card is internal so I really couldn't check that. Everything inside in plugged in and looks fine. Is it the power supply??

Re: Does the power supply need replaced?
The PSU is a possibility. Substitute another one to be certain.
Posting the PC's specs might prove helpful.
