What does the 'transfer rate' spec mean in memory?
I have these specs for ddr 1333 memory
clock speed: 677 bus speed: 1333 MTps transfer rate: 10667 MBps So I'm assuming the tranfer rate means 10.6 G bytes per second. Is that for one stick of memory? And does that apply for any size stick of memory, 1G, 2G, or 8G? (I think they all have the same number of pins) Also if you have many sticks of memory, do you add those amounts together? Or can the memory controller only access one stick at a time? Also what does MTps stand for? A lot of questions, I know Thanks |
