What kind of ram would be supported in my Mobo?

Hello, I was wondering what kind of ram would be supported in my mobo. It is a socket 478 foxconn motherboard, running on a p4 2.40 ghz processor, and currently has 512 mb of ram(2 256 chips, both different manufacturers). I can also supply you with the model number for further clarification of my type of mobo.

Re: What kind of ram would be supported in my Mobo?

Inspect the sticker on the RAM installed on ur PC already and note the numbers that should say something along the lines of DDR400 PC3200 C3 or 400mhz numbers. Numbers may be different for ur board but in the same format i.e urs might be DDR533 or PC4200 and make sure it looks indentical to ur ones (especially the connectors). Alternately u can download the manual for ur board, that will have all the info u need!
