Hello,
I have a Toshiba Satellite, Model No: A35-S159. below are the specs for both my battery and the ac adapter. what my problem is, when the computer is running everything is normal. I always have my AC adapter plugged in. HOWEVER my computer still turns off and the battery light flashes saying it needs charging. Why is this!!?? i have my`AC adapter plugged in and working and i know this because the light on the front of my computer goes on. I went ahead and took out my battery and just ran the computer using AC adapter only and it worked.. Why cant i just use the AC power when my battery is in the computer? Here are the specs for the COMPUTER BATTERY Toshiba Model:PA3250U- 1BRS Li-ion BATTERY PACK DC14.8V Here are the specs for the AC adapter Kensington Model: K33404US 90W AC power adapter Input:100 to 240VAC, 59 to 60Hz, 2.5A Max Output:90 watts -Note: there are two(2) switches. the 1st switch is for14-17Volts and the other is 17-21 Volts. thanks for any info labarr15 |
