My System

1Gb Missing Memory (RAM)

My PC's Specs (CPU-Z)

I have 2x 1Gb of Corsair DDR2-533 RAM installed. But in Windows and BIOS only 1Gb shows. However the ram is installed correctly , because 2x 1Gb shows up when I run CPUID (CPU-Z).

I would greatly appriciate if anyone can help me with this,

Thanks in advance

Re: 1Gb Missing Memory (RAM)

this mobo only handles x8 and x16 modules (low density) these are x4 (high density) so is used by dmi controller as 512 single rank each x2 modules = 1gb.
