Dell Dimension E520

I have a Dell Dimension E520 and have bought 4x1Gb RAM modules. I checked the comaptibility lists before purchasing and the E520 was listed as compatible.

After installing the PC powers up but I get nothing on the screen. The monitor light stays orange and the computer doesn't boot.

I am currently going throught the DELL diagnostics to find out if they can help.

The only thing I notice about the memory is that it is double sided but the memory I have taken out is Single Sided. Would this be causing the issues.

If anybody can offer any help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
