[SOLVED] Random reboots: NO BSOD.

Yes, it's really annoying. Only happens every now and then, but still. I've attached a zip file that jcgriff suggested that his cool script made :)

Basics about the computer:

Asus p6tse MB
Core i7 920 processor
12gigs of ram (6 sticks of all the same brand and model, no mixed memory)
1TB and 640gig Harddrives
800what power supply
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 1GB Video Card
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit SP1

I get no warning, no blue screen. The screen just goes blank and the PC reboots. I do no gaming at all. It just happens while doing normal programs. Web browsing, photoshop etc.

Thanks!

Re: Random reboots: NO BSOD.

everything looks normal

check the voltage range for your ram and see if you have scope to lift it

the psu needs a min of 13amps from the wall socket, here normal power sockets are rated for 10amps
higher rated lines are required for electric stoves aircons ect this may have something to do with it,i am not familiar with electrics in other countries
