1GB RAM on Intel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz

Hi,

I have 1 GB of RAM on my laptop along with the processor mevtioned in the title (Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz )

Is this sufficient? I find that when I am working with pdf's, if I try to print it may take up to 2 mins for the printing options to appear. Adobe just freezes.
I have tried may different things, all to no avail.

Could it be that the amount of RAM is not sufficient to support the processor??

Re: 1GB RAM on Intel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz

considering windows XP requires only 256mb to run its quite easy on any system thats why they put only 1gb in netbooks and use windows XP home edition.

but wrench is right about vista, it hogs a computers memory and saps battery life with its aero graphics system. so yeah 2gb -3gig minimum, if you're running vista and in an intel core 2 duo LAPTOP thats likely, get mo' ram
