DRAM timings?
I've slightly overclocked my cpu, and when looking on cpu-z, I noticed my memory Dram Frequency is lower than what other peoples are showing they normally show around 500mhz, where as mine is 334.8mhz? Is this correct?
![]() This is my Ram - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/129954 I've gone into the bios and change a setting it was on 677mhz, so put it to 800mhz had to change it to manual, should I have to of done that surely it would pick it up the moment it was installed? Now it shows as this-

Mixing brands of RAM and filling all of the Mobo slots can cause issues.
At 334.8 your RAM is running 667.4. (DDR2 is double pumped). When set to Auto in the Bios. The Mobo adjusts the RAM speed to correspond with the CPU Clock Speed.

There should not be any performance loss in fact it should be optimally set in the auto configuration. There are few exceptions.
