EEK! Is This the right RAM?

Hi All,

I am working on an computer that is 10+ years old. I'm trying to upgrade the RAM from 64MB to 256MB. It says in the motherboard manual that it will take two 128MB, 168-pin, 3.3v (unbuffered) SDRAM modules.

I found one on Newegg and was wondering if it was the right one to get.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146076

Any help would be appreciated, If you need more information, I will try to provide it.

Thank You.

Re: Is This the right RAM?

Hey Spiral1, without knowing the model/make of the motherboard and going on the specs. you posted from manual, then yes this stick is 128MB 168 pin, and runs at 3.3v.

Should work fine.

Re: Is This the right RAM?

Thanks HD Monkey

The motherboard is a FIC KA-6130. I tried looking for more info but that is all the motherboard manual has to say on the matter of RAM. I went to look for information on sites like www.crucial.com in the RAM finder but the computer which is a Proteva isn't listed on the site. I think it is the right RAM but wanted to check with a few people on here before purchasing. Thanks
