Best ram for i7 920
I just spoke to a salesman online regarding my new PC purchase, he said that because the i7 has a 1066mhz FSB, the best ram would be triple chanel 1066mhz.
I have a budget high enough to be able to purchase corsair patriot ram with 1600mhz freq., but as he said, would this just make the i7 underperform? Im guessing hes just saying that because he doesnt have the 1600mhz corsair or ocz ram i wanted... Thanks |

Re: Best ram for i7 920
Okay, well that will bring my PC price down because i was going to go for the Corsair dominator 3x2gb kit, but since i dont need ram thats that fast, ill go for the OCZ 1333mhz triple channel 3x2gb kit
Thanks |
