PC restarts with no reason
Sometimes the PC just restarts itself, sometimes just shuts down with no blue screen or any kind of error. I have tried to clean the computer with high air pressure, unplugged and plugged back the memory cards and other cards nothing helped. Now it looks like it restarts when I am trying to open the C: drive...

Re: PC restarts with no reason
Hi JB,
Welcome to the forum. It sounds like a classic case of power failure. You need to list your hardware details. That will be the next questions from the forum team. Mother board cpu memory disk video card Power supply details etc. First thing to check is your not loosing power due to a bad power cable, power board or power socket. To prove it is not software just boot it to the bios and let it sit there. If it restarts from Bios it is not going to be any problem with windows. Next your going to have to borrow or buy a power supply to try. But post more details before buying anything so the hardware team can have a look at your details. Forgive me if Im slow to respond in the next few days as I am traveling... |
