PSU performance on GPU
hello guys.. this is my second post.. because my first post. was lost.. and i dont know why.. I'm going to ask the same question...
I was asking that, if Im going to buy a better PSU (a more powerful compared to the one Im using) will it INCREASE the performance of my GPU?.. my GPU is 9800GT by Palit 1gb.. and there are no problems nor issues to my videocard.. Since, i was planning to buy a better PSU.. would I get a performance increase?? |

Re: PSU performance on GPU
If your GPU isn't getting enough power, then yes you will see a performance increase and most stability. If your GPU has enough power then you probably won't see much difference. It's like building a building. You have to have a foundation strong enough to support the building above, but if your foundation is already strong enough and you make it stronger, the building isn't going to get any taller.
What brand/model/wattage is your current PSU?
