hi. didnt know where else to put this, but found this post relevant. so there is no way that XP pro 32 bit can recognise more than 3GB of RAM? I am planning to have 4GB in total for my motherboard which supports as much memory..

32 bit can only mathematically address up to 4Gig including any address space reserved for system devices like add in cards, usually Windows 32bit will report around 3.2Gig as usable but can range from 2.8 to 3.5. It's really not a big deal since XP32 will never use more then 2.8 anyway.
