Hey.
I'm planing to buy a new RAM and maybe a new processor for my computer and i have absolutely no clue what to look for. I bought two new RAM's last year (two st 1gb, so i have 2gb now) but my friend helped me pick those one's out. Unfortunately he's on vacation right now so he can't help me. I'm looking for two st 2gb rams, so i'll end up with 4gb. I currently have a HP Pavilion a6110 Desktop PC, you can find more info about it here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...reg_R1002_USEN If anybody could give a hint what to look for, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :) EDIT: Sorry, i just saw that i posted it in the wrong category... it should've been posted in "Hardware Support".

Re: What Ram will fit my computer?
Isn't DIMM rams for laptops? (that's pretty much the only thing i know about RAM's) Thanks for the link though :)
I'd like to know what to look for, don't just post a link to what could fit.. explain why it fits. Like there's different types of rams and stuff like that.

One of these part numbers for Kingston> http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/conf...submit1=Search
Most major memory manufacturers have a configuration utility to give you the part number of the correct ram so that it is a once and done guaranteed to work module. Corsair , Crucial , OCZ |
