Booting to Blank screen
I have recently had some issues with my pc, they may be all linked, here's how it started. I have a E machines Desktop. I had a nvidia 8600 PCI E card installed in it for about 6 months. 1 month ago i booted my pc to see that my card was not being picked up by my monitor. I don't have a spare pc to test the card is the problem, but fan is still runing after boot, but with the monitor light being yellow. so then I installed a old card that I used in the past. A Visiontek 1300 PCI card. After 3 weeks of using it. I encounterd the same problem, except this time the monitor picks up the signal with a green light and auto detects it. As soon as i boot the pc The screen is blank. I hear the HDD spinning for 1 second then it's silent. I Usually hear my HDD running through out the booting sequence.
