Home built PC on EVGA NVIDIA NForce 7901 Ultra mobo, Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB DDR3 GSKILL (4x1GB) running Vista Premium 32 Bit
Getting numerous blue screens with varying stop codes. Ran Memtest86 with all four memory modules installed and quickly failed. Ran Memtest on each module individually and they all passed. Running any configuration of memory othere than a single module at a time fails in Memtest.... Any ideas? Thanks |

Re: Need help with RAM issue on home built PC
with memtest you have to run it on 1 stick at a time
what model is the 850w check the voltage range for your ram and see if you have scope to lift it

STOP:0x0000008a
STOP:0x00000024 there was another I wrote down but couldn't find it Just went to start it up again with twi dimms in the proper slots per the manual and I get nothing...no video... no drives spinning up;..... POST code of 80 on the motherboard which shows up as "reserved" in the mobo manual. I think I'll just call the mobo manufacturer support and hope they dont tell me its the memory...lol. http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287 the 0x24 is a file system error for that you run chkdsk /r once you get running what model is the 850w
