Ram types

Hi guys this is a silly question however I currently have two sticks of 1gb ram it is DDR 2 on the package it came in it says 667 pc2 5300 a few days ago I bought 2 more sticks this time Its 2gb each the package only says 5300 is the new ram the same speed ?

Yes. PC5300 is DDR2667. The PC2 probably refers to a 2GB stick.
